Son of the late Chester and Florence Zamushinski Kozlowski, he was educated in Scranton Technical High School. He had been employed as a painter for Diamond Casket and Casket Shells Inc. until his illness. Gary was an avid bowler at South Side Lanes, and enjoyed the company of his many friends on league night. Everyone that met Gary loved him because of his personality and his caring about other people. He loved his dog, Scarlet, and will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. He is survived by his son Gary Kozlowski Jr and his wife Rosaleen Fitzell Kozlowski.
