Gerald “Gerry” Francis Fry 61 of Conover passed away Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital after a brief illness.

Born July 23, 1953 in Buchanan County, MO to the late Edward Fry and to Anna Daily Fry of St. Joseph, MO
Gerald was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Claremont, Hickory Elks Lodge, Lutheran Men at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church and Faith Lutheran Church, and former member of Knights of Columbus.

A service to celebrate Gerald’s life will be held Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Claremont. Rev. Wesley Frye will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 18, 2014 from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 3180 West Main Street, Claremont, NC 28610
