Wes was born in Leedey, Oklahoma.
Wes is survived by his wife, Barbara of Vancouver, Washington; his children: daughter, Teri McGuire of Fairview, Oregon and son, Frank Coley of Vancouver, Washington; and his sisters, Irene Power and Lavina Cranfield.
Wes served in the 187th Airborne Division during the Korean War. He was very proud of his military service often marching in the Vancouver Veteran's Day Parade in Vancouver, Washington.
Wes volunteered at the Clark County Fair for over 25 years. He enjoyed bowling and playing the fiddle. He loved riding his recumbent bike around Orchards.
Wes was a loyal and committed member of the Christ Restored Church in Salmon Creek, Washington.
Wes' life and service will be honored at his burial site at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon on Wednesday, March 25th, 2015.
