My great great grandmother, Lovada Wheeler Hensley, was born in 1887 to Henry Wheeler and Matilda (née Duncan) Wheeler. I calculated her birth year off of the fact that she was sixteen in 1903.
In 1903, she married Stephen Hensley, who was ten years her senior. This union produced four children: three girls (Roxanna, Sally, and Ollie) and a boy (Lonnie).
When her children were young, Lovada disappeared and it's widely believed that she ran away. No one knows what became of her, and the possibilities of her fate are endless. It's possible that she is buried under an alias somewhere, or perhaps her body was lost.
