C.M. Warrender, Retired Farmer, Dies at His Home
Charles M. Warrender, 72, of . . ., retired farmer, died Sunday morning at home.
Mr. Warrender was born Nov. 12, 1883, at Mason City, Ill., and came to the Wichita area in 1931. He was a dairy farmer near Derby, moving to Wichita in 1947. He managed a local service station for some four years.
Surviving are his widow, Myrtle; two sons, Charles L., . . ., and Max R., . . .; a step-daughter, Mrs. H.M. [Grace] Tomlinson, . . .; a step-son, Claude Epperson, . . .; a sister, Mrs. Leota Stratford, Portland, Ore.; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Culbertson Mortuary. The Rev. D.K. McColl, of Hillside Christian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
