OBITUARY - 03/22/2015 - Mary Henrietta Creech, 67, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015. She was the former Mary Tate born to the late Robert and Theresa Tate on December 4, 1947 in Muldraugh, KY. Mary graduated from Western Kentucky University and retired from JCPS, teaching math at Fairdale High School. She was an avid U of L sports fan and loved being on her house boat at Lake Cumberland with her family and friends. She will be missed dearly by her loving family, and by the many people who considered her a good friend, as well as the many students whose lives she's touched. A Life Celebration will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at noon, at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. and after 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the education fund for her grandchildren that has been set up at Chase Bank.
