Herlof (Dane) Andersen

Herlof (Dane) Andersen, 91, Delavan, died at home on Friday, March 8, 1996.

He was born on February 10, 1905 in Racine, and lived in Racine until May 1995 when he moved to Delavan. He married Alvina Karpen in 1927. He was a longtime Racine County Deputy Sheriff. He enjoyed golfing, boating, and woodworking. He especially enjoyed the time spent with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Vina; a son, Donald (Joyce) Andersen; three grandchildren, Kristine Andersen, Dane Andersen and Liz (Glen) Andersen; three great-grandchildren, Kristen Andersen, Kurtis Moss and Molly Moss; many friends and relatives in Racine and Delavan.

Funeral services were held at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Racine on Tuesday, March 12, Wilson Funeral Home, Racine, handled arrangements for the family. The family ask that donations be made to Lakeland Hospice, Elkhorn.
