Enid Marie Pritchett Adams, 86, passed away peacefully March 21, 2015 in Loa. Enid was born May 9, 1928 in Mt Pleasant, Utah, to Thomas Lee Pritchett and Lola Lucy Clyde. After the death of her father, her mother remarried Alton Stringham. Alton brought three children to the union and later two more joined the family. The siblings forged a loving, close relationship.

Enid married the love of her life, Roland Dorius Adams in the Manti LDS Temple on June 15, 1949. They loved to dance, be with family and friends, and spend time in the mountains. They were a team and loved to be together. They were blessed with four children.

She was educated in the Manti schools and graduated from Snow College and BYU with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education and minors in home ec and speech. She wanted to be able to raise her children well. She also received an honorary doctorate from Snow College. She loved learning and drama, excelling wherever she participated.

Enid taught at Ephraim Elementary School for 28 years and loved every student. She continually attended classes to improve her teaching and mentored many prospective teachers. She was involved in the education association, and civic organizations.

Enid always loved the Gospel and was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served in many positions. She was grateful to serve in the Manti Temple for many years and shared that love of the temple with her family. She loved the Savior, her family, and Ephraim.

Enid is joyfully reunited with her sweetheart Roland, who preceded her in death.

They are survived by their children: Thomas Roland (Diane), Ephraim; Richard Don (Becky), Loa; DeAnn (Robert) Whiting, Marysville, WA; Janet (Jerry) McLeod, Suwanee, GA; 25 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; siblings: LaRue Larsen, Mary Dean (Robert) Durrant, William (Marjorie) Stringham and Norma Reynolds (Clark) Christensen; sister-in-law, Alice Pritchett.
