MRS. JEANIE G. BLACK
The funeral of Mrs. Jeanie Groom Black was held on April 3, with interment in Immanuel Episcopal churchyard. Her death occurred April 1, at her home in New Castle, Del.
The deceased was the widow of Dr. John J. Black. She was 80 years of age.
Mrs. Black was a native of Elkton and was the last surviving child of the late Colonel John C. and Elizabeth Black Groome, and a sister of the late Senator James B. Groome
and the late Mrs. Albert Constable.
She is survived by a daughter, Miss Elizabeth G. Black; a grandson, John Janvier Fulenwider, of Wilmington, and a number of nephews and nieces.
