William Adrian “Bill” Axline 94, of Marion died Saturday afternoon March 21, 2015 at the Presidential Center in Marion.

He first married Betty Jane Leeper and she died in 1986. Then in 1995 he married Virginia (Meredith) Corbin and she survives.

Also surviving are children, Richard A. (Catherine) Axline of Kenton, Sue (Robert) Honse of Findlay, John M. (Lynn) Corbin of Marion, Robert “Tom” Corbin of Marion, Linda S. (Fred) White of Harpster and Sandra J. (Woodie) Jordan of New Bloomington. 19 Grandchildren and numerous Great Grandchildren.

Predeceased in death by twin daughters: Sheila Schaffner and Sharon Hyden, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

Bill was an active member of the New Bloomington United Methodist Church; He was a mail carrier in Findlay for over 20 years. Member of the National Association of Letter Carriers. In keeping with his career as a mail carrier, he continued on in life being an avid walker. Bill was a big O.S.U. sports fan and loved spending time with his entire family.

Services will be held Thursday March 26, 2015 at 10:00 am at the Chapel at Knollcrest Cemetery Arcadia, Ohio where there will be veteran services conducted by the Hancock County Veteran Memorial Squad. Officiating will be Pastor Ben Shaeffer. Friends may call at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in LaRue from 4 to 7 PM on Wednesday March 25, 2015.
