Nevada was the daughter of Philip Dever Stephens and Sarah Matilda Howard. They had 11 Children. Nevada was the 6th children. There were 5 girls and 6 boys.
She married Jacob A Reider on April 22, 1874 in Tipton, Missouri. Jacob was born on June 6, 1849 in Wooster, Ohio and died on December 6, 1883 in Columbia , Indiana
They had 3 Daughters, Minner Edna was born in Delta ,Ohio 1875-1904.
Blanche Lilian 1877-1971 - born in Columbia City , Indiana
Mabel 1881-1937-born in Columbia City , Indians

In 1871 they move to a farm by Columbia City, Indiana. When her husband Jacob passing away, Nevada mortgage a home in town in Columbia City. All 3 of her daughters were living with her. One of her daughters , Minnie Pearson has a daughter Lucil B. Pearson in 1900.
In 1910, Nevada was living with her daughter Blanche and Lawrence Sullivan in Detriot, Michigan. In 1920- 1940 , she live with Blance and her family at Dearborn , Michigan. She lived her daughter until she passed away.
