She was born Nov. 4, 1911 in Fountain County, the daughter of Roy and Ida Mae (Hickman) Duncan.
She married Wayne R. Barker June 8, 1929. He preceded in death in 1979.
She was a homemaker and helped her husband farm. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and loved playing the piano.
She was a member of the Coopers Chapel Church and the Ladies Aid of the church.
Survivors include: a son, George (Sharon) Barker, Kingman; two daughters-in-law, Frances Barker, Veedersburg and Artith Barker, Covington; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, three brothers, a sister, two grandsons, and a daughter-in-law.
