Mrs. Margaret Blackburn Crouch, age 92, of Marion, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2015 at Solace Center in Asheville following a period of declining health. Margaret was born in Cliffside in Rutherford County on April 17, 1922 to the late Samuel Eugene Blackburn and Mattie Walker Blackburn. She was retired from Moore’s Department Store where she served for many years as a sales clerk. Surviving Margaret are two children, Robert Charles Boone and Judy Crouch Robinette, both of Marion, and two grandchildren, Blaine Andrew Crouch and Kimberly Melissa Howell and her husband. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
