Donald W. "Jake" Trone, 76, of 403 South Main Street, Lewisburg, died Sunday morning June 2, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton after a extended illness. A native of Preble County, he retired as a self-employed plasterer.
Survivors include a sister, Violet Bell of Englewood; brothers, Max of Dayton, Erskin of Lewisburg and John Trone of Trotwood; two niece and one nephew.
Funeral services were Tuesday, June 5, at Barnes Funeral Home, Lewisburg Chapel with the Rev. John Harra officiating. Burial in Monroe Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lewisburg Emergency Unit.
