John Brody, 59, of Cheboygan died early Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2000 at Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey. John was born in Cheboygan Oct. 7, 1941, the son of John and Beatrice (Brimacombe) Brody. He married Judy Thornton Oct. 10, 1964 at St. James Episcopal Church in Cheboygan. John was employed with Cheboygan Cement Products of Cheboygan as a truck driver for 35 years. John loved hunting, fishing and his "57" Chevy. He is survived by his wife Judy, a daughter Tracy and her husband Mark Holland of Wolverine, two sisters Shirley Bonnett (Dale) of Swartz Creek and Roseline Brody of Aurora, Colo. and two brothers, Joe Brody and Ken Brody, both of Cheboygan. Visitation will be held on Friday at the Nordman Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Nordman Funeral Home, Rev. Dennis Bromley officiating. Burial will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery at Aloha.
