Jerry Kendall Blizzard, 76, of Richlands, passed away Friday, October 10, 2014 at Onslow Memorial Hospital. A native of Richlands, he was a son of the late Levi John and Susan Jane Coston Blizzard. He worked for AllPro Body Shop, Jacksonville and was a member of Bible Church Ministires. Surviving are his wife, Jean Hobbs-Blizzard of the home; two sons, David Martin Blizzard of Winston-Salem, Gregory Scott Blizzard of Jacksonville; four brothers, William Earl Blizzard of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Jimmy Blizzard of Richlands, Roy Ervin Blizzard of St. Louis, MO, Allen Levi Blizzard of Richlands; and three sisters, Edna Lucille Giovingo of McLean, VA,Shirley Blizzard Lewis of Richlands and Zada Frances Ashlock of Neal, KS. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by an infant son, David Kendall Blizzard; and a brother, Donald Davis Blizzard. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 19, 2014 from 5 pm until 6:45 pm with a memorial service to follow at 7 pm at Bible Church Ministry; 266 Bannermans Mill Road; Richlands, with Reverend Eric Jones officiating.[His cremation urn will be placed in his wife's coffin when her Celebration of Life event occurs.]
