Augustine was riding with his son, Eugene, when their car collided with a large sedan operated by Adolph Hoffman of Medford. The son is in Vanderbilt Hospital, New York, with a broken jaw and a slight concussion of the brain. Each driver declares the other was reckless, though neither has made any formal complaints.
