MARQUIS, John W. "Jack" Age 82 of Englewood, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired as a die-cast operator from the Laughters Corporation and later from the City of Vandalia. Jack was also a member of the St. Paul Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years: Constance J. (John) Marquis, son and daughter-in-law: Thomas and Connie Marquis of Englewood, grandchildren: Stefanie Marquis, Ashley (Josh) Saylor, Kaleigh Marquis, great grandchildren: Jason, Kaiden, Kinley, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: William and Adelaide Marquis, son: Anthony William Marquis, daughter: Cathleen Ann Marquis and brother: Robert Marquis.
The family will receive friends on Friday, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood). A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Arlington Cemetery in Brookville.
