JOHN BLOOM, SR.----- BLOOM FUNERAL FROM RESIDENCE (316 E Nineth St)------------ The funeral services of John Bloom, Sr., will be held from the residence tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. Jans will officiate at the home and the G. A. R. will have charge of the services at Greenwood cemetery.-------"THE MUSCATINE JOURNAL", Muscatine, Iowa, Friday, April 21, 1911, page 4---- JOHN BLOOM, SR., LAID TO REST ------------ Rev. Jans conducted the last sad rites over the remains of John Bloom, Sr., at 2 o'clock this afternoon from the residence on East Tenth street. The funeral cortège was composed of the family and a large number of friends and the members of both the G. A. R., and the Mechanics' Aid Society. The G. A. R. had charge of the services at the cemetery which were attended by a large number of people. The pallbearers were chosen from both the Mechanics' Aid Society and G. A. R. Post. A detail from Company C. also turned out.
