Jerry Gene Tucker, age 74, passed away at his Oneonta residence on March 24, 2015. Mr. Tucker retired as a Welder/Fitter from Process Equipment Company. He was a member of Lighthouse Praise and Hope Church and enjoyed fishing.
He is preceded in death by parents, Will and Mary Sinn Tucker; daughter, Kim Lee; and sister, Dorothy Hollingsworth.
Mr. Tucker is survived by wife, Peggy Tucker of Oneonta; daughter, Wendy Aycock (Gary) of Albertville; son, Scott Brian Tucker (Margaret) of Hueytown; grandchildren, Jennifer Vines (Chase), Nicole Tucker and Will Aycock; great grandchildren, Aiden Sumner and Courtney Washington; sister, Glenda Scott of Blountsville; and son-in-law, Bill Lee of Opelika.
Bro. Tim Green will officiate funeral services on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 11AM from the Chapel of Lemley Funeral Home with burial following at Oak Hill Cemetery. Mr. Tucker will lie in state at Lemley Funeral Home on Thursday, March 26, 2015 from 5PM until 8PM and on Friday from 8AM until service time.
