She was a retired service representative with South Central Bell. She was a member of College View Church of Christ in Florence and a member of the Pioneers Club, an AT&T organization.
Visitation will be Saturday Morning March 26 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the Elkins Funeral Home in Florence.
Funeral services will follow visitation at 10:00 a.m. Services will be conducted by Harold Comer and David Thomley. Burial will be at Martin Cemetery.
She was the widow of the late Lifford Cole of Athens, Al. and daughter of the late Thomas M. Rickard and Amanda R. Bounds Rickard.
Survivors are nephews: Marshall Nelson, Gulfport, Ms, Thomas O. Kennemer, B'ham, Al., Linford C. Rickard, Sarasota, Fl., Niels K. Nelson , Ft. Worth, Tx., and Leo F. Nelson, Biloxi, MS. Nieces are Mrs. Mane N. Meier, Florence and Janey R, Wright also of Florence.
Pallbearers are Jimmy Johnson, Ray Saint, Rob Hibbett Ken Hibbett and David Kern. Honorary bearers are College View Church of Christ.
