LeRoy was the son of Jessie Leroy Blair and Opal Johnson Blair. Leroy passed away quietly at the V A Hospital in Oklahoma City on February 8th, 2012 following an extended illness. He was 84 years old. Leroy joined the Army and served 4 years in the tank division. Leroy married Alma Martha Smith on 7-28-1956. He spent his life outdoors as a rancher on Sunbeam Farms for 14 1/2 years followed by Bomford Farms for 30 years.
Leroy is survived by his wife and 3 children: William Bill Blair and his wife Ardie of Miami, OK., Bobby Leroy Blair Jr. and his wife Patty of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, Pamela Blair Mathis and husband Gary of Quapaw, OK, 7 grandchildren; Bobby Leroy Blair III, Kalista Thomason, Megan Kelley, Jared Mathis, Zachary Blair, Paul Blair and Destine Arnold, 5 great-grandchildren; Kathryn Thomason, Kameryn Thomason, Tyler Mathis, Wyatt Mathis, and Conner Kelley.
He was proceeded in death by grandson K.J. Horn.
Funeral services will be held at Southern Hills Baptist Church in Miami, OK. under the direction of Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami, OK.
