Burt Berry peacefully passed into the arms of his Lord and Savior Sunday, March 22, 2015. Born September 17, 1926 to Jessie and Henry Berry in Killeen, Texas. After moving to Dallas with his family, he graduated from, Woodrow Wilson High School. He attended SMU and earned degrees in Accounting and Law. Mr. Berry practiced law in Dallas for over 50 years. In 1985 he became a partner in a law office building with three friends; Jim Brown, Mike Berkley and Tom Briggs (deceased) and has maintained the proud Partnership until his death. He also briefly played semi-pro baseball and continued to love the game throughout his life. Burt and Barbara were members of First Baptist Church for more than 60 years, where he served as a deacon.

Preceded in death by parents and brothers John, Randal, and Herschel. He is survived by loving wife of 61 years, Barbara Keenan Berry, nephew Bill Berry nieces Elaine Wredberg, Linda Harrott and Pat Brooker.

Services will be held Thursday, March 26, at 2:00 pm, Grove Hill Funeral and Memorial Park, 3920 Samuell Boulevard, Dallas, Texas 75228 with viewing one hour prior to service. Interment to follow. Honorary Pallbearers are Jim Brown, Mike Berkley, Kenny Stephens, Bill Berry, Trey Wredberg and Bryan Bird. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to his faithful caregivers, April Diaz, Cynthia Winston, Shenequa Johnson, Louise Ferron and VNA Hospice for their loving care.
