LeRoy L. Smith, age 81, of 1613 County Rd. BB, Denmark, town of Mishicot, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice Facility in Sheboygan Falls. LeRoy was born January 30, 1934, in Kewaunee Co., to the late Edward and Gertrude Worthington Smith and has been a lifelong area resident. He served his country in the United States Army. LeRoy married the former Carol Mae Johnson June 9, 1956 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Two Rivers. He worked as a mechanic for Yanda Motors of Manitowoc, and Mishicot Auto for many years. He was a member of the Tisch Mills Fire Department. LeRoy enjoyed hunting, fishing, Nas Car racing and loved spending time with his family, his loving wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. His family was most important in his life.

LeRoy is survived by his loving wife, Carol; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Lynn and Kurt Kahlenberg, Lori and Mike Zich, Lisa Smith, Louann Smith, five sons and two daughters-in-law, Scott and Tammy Smith, Dan and Debbie Smith, Bill Smith, Lee Smith, and Ken Smith, his grandchildren, Casey Smith, Stephanie (Jason) Niesing, Erica (Dustin) Dalluge, Scott Smith, Brenda (Jim) Antalis, Matt Smith, Stacey Smith, Kelly Smith, Christopher Smith, Billy (Missy) Trochil, Adam (Sara) Trochil, Tanner Kahlenberg, Brad (Sara) Smith, Brandon Smith, Amanda Zich, Jesse Tittl, Michael Rodewald, Amber Rodewald, Samantha Lehrmann, Cody Hoffman, 16 great-grandchildren, several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a grandson: Adam Schaum, and by several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 30, 2015, at the Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home, 344 So. State St., Mishicot with Reverend Kay Richter officiating. Relatives and friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Visitation will continue after 10 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home until the time of service at 11 a.m. followed by Military Rites accorded by the Mishicot VFW Kempen-Staudinger-Terens Post # 7753.
