Bernard Schuler Fuller, 89, of Clarksville, VA, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015 in Chase City, VA. Born October 2, 1925 in Flat Top, WV, he was a son of the late Arthur and Laura Fuller. He had worked in the Coal Industry, Transportation Services and was retired from Flowers Bakery. He had served his country faithfully in the US Navy during WWII. Also he was an airplane enthusiast, both as a pilot and in Radio Control. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Lee Fuller, one brother, Harold Fuller and two sons, Dorsey Wayne Fuller and Bernard Brittain Fuller.
He is survived by one son, Darrell Whitten Fuller; daughter-in-law, Barbara Ann Fuller (spouse to Wayne Fuller); grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
A service to celebrate his life will be held Sunday, March 29, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Dudley Memorial Mortuary with Pastor Jeff Stacy officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens with grandsons serving as pallbearers.
Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
