Also survived by 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and a niece, Barbara Bohrer-Hall.

Friends may call on Sunday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Ives-Pearson Funeral Homes, 2847 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA, where services will be held on Monday, September 26, at 1:30 p.m. Interment National Memorial Park.
