Willard is buried in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Borden, IN. Lydia Coe’s brother was Ike Coe. Children were Clyde, Claude, Pearl and Archie.
Obituary: National Democrat, Jeffersonville, Indiana, 26 Jul 1895, page 4, column 1, reads: Mrs. Willard Akers, a well-known lady, who resided at Borden, died Wednesday. Besides her husband she leaves five small children, one of which is but a few weeks old.
