Brenda "Duna" Dale Nelson, age 72, of D'Iberville, MS, died on Friday, March 27, 2015.
Brenda Nelson was born and raised in D'Iberville where she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church and lived life as a Christian. She owned and operated the TLC Day Care in D'Iberville for 10 plus years and had a special place in her heart for children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Fred Nelson, parents, George and Olga Moran, siblings, Matt Moran, Janet O'Friel and Patsy Cannette and a grandchild, Lauren Nelson.
Survivors include her children, Leo Nelson, Kenneth (Tina) Nelson and David (Tami) Nelson, siblings, Betsy "Kay" Joachim, Danny Moran, Donnie Moran and Judy Martino, grandchildren, Jennifer (Mike) Nichols, Kurt (Jacqueline) Nelson, David Nelson, Chad Nelson and Derek Nelson and great-grandchildren, Peyton Nichols, Kenslee Nichols, Cade Nelson, Kamdyn Nelson and Kye Nelson.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 1, from 10:30 am - 12 noon, with a 12 noon Mass of Christian Burial, all at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in D'Iberville Memorial Park.
