Earl Gordon Cassday, 58, of Earlham died of a heart attack on June 9 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center at Des Moines.

The son of Howard and Fanny Cassady, he was born in Dallas County on October 1, 1930. He married Bonnie M. Stonehocker on June 24, 1951. He lived and wored most of his life in Dallas and Madison counties.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and a grandson.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie; six sons, Jimmy, Larry, Danny and Lessly, all of Redfield, Gary of Earlham and Ricky of Des Moines; three daughters, Bonnie Kay Belew of Redfield, Betty Stahl of Earlham and Dolly Fullmer of LeClaire; two brothers, Wyman of Glendale, Arizona and Elmer of Winterset; a sister, Daisy Patterson of Winterset; and 19 grandchildren.
