Spry Women Dies At 83
Spry—Mrs. Mary Ellen Slenker, widow of Moses Slenker, died yesterday morning at the residence of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Foust, Spry. She was 83 years old.
She is survived by six children: Mrs. Paul Foust, Mrs. Charles Grim, Allen M. Slenker, all of Spry; Clarence E. Slenker, St. Louis; Mrs. Allen Keiser, York, and Mrs. Harry Lentz, Harrisburg; 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Beaverson, York, R.D. and a brother, Philip Miller, York.
Mrs. Slenker was a member of the Spry United Brethren church and Sunday school. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon, at 2 o'clock, from the Purd A. Reidel Funeral home, Dallastown. The Rev. B. D. Rojahn will officiate. Interment will be in Spry United Brethren cemetery.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Purd A. Reidel Funeral home, Dallastown, on Friday, Oct. 4 at 2 p. m. Interment in the Spry U. B. cemetery.
