Salt Lake Tribune August 2, 2013. Obituary: Karma J. Dixon, April 28, 1922 - July 27, 2013, 91, passed away from causes incident to age on July 27, 2013, in Salt Lake City, Utah, surrounded by loving family members. She was born on April 28, 1922, in Mantua, Utah, to Norman Jeppsen and Josie Jensen Jeppsen. She was the oldest of six children. She married John A. Dixon in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on September 28, 1944. They raised their family of three children in Ogden where she was involved in many community and church activities. After moving to Salt Lake City, she served for a number of years as the hostess supervisor at the Church Office Building and as ward and stake relief society president. Together with her husband, they fulfilled a two-year inner-city mission. Though our hearts are saddened, we rejoice in knowing she is with her beloved husband, John.

Karma is survived by three children, Steven (Valerie) Dixon, Bountiful, Utah; Kay (David) Lee, Salt Lake City, Utah; and Lisa (Michael) Cluff, Bountiful, Utah; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is survived by sisters, Clarice (Bill) Williams, Gloria Dyches and Arnell (Ernie) Schneiter.

She was predeceased by her husband, John, sister, Ardis Piers, and brother, Jay Norman Jeppsen. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 3, 2013, 11:00 a.m., at the Monument Park 12th/17th Ward Chapel, 2795 East Crestview Drive (approximately 1000 South), Salt Lake City, Utah. Friends may call at the ward on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment is at Washington Heights Cemetery, 4500 South Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah. The family suggests in lieu of flowers that donations be sent to the Dr. John Aldous & Karma J. Dixon School of Medicine Scholarship Fund, 540 Arapeen, Suite 120, Salt Lake City, UT 84108.
