Dorothy "Dottie" Gann, 81, a retired bookkeeper, died Monday, Feb. 6, 2006, in Bridgeport.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Chico. Burial: Chico Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Survivors: Grandson, Luke McKittrick and wife, Bobbie; daughter-in-law, Wanda Sims; granddaughters, Deborah McConnell, Michelle Otterson, Krissy Sims; great-grandchildren, Kylie, Luke and Brenna McKittrick; and brother-in-law, George Gann.

Born May 29, 1924, in Hillsboro, she was a bookkeeper. She married Eldred D. Gann Feb. 13, 1950, in Fort Worth and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chico and the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her daughter, Cindy, and husband, Luke McKittrick; her son, Mickey Sims; and a grandson, Michael Sims.
She is survived by her grandson, Luke McKittrick and wife, Bobbie, of Bridgeport; a daughter-in-law, Wanda Sims of Whitney; three granddaughters, Deborah McConnell of California, Michelle Otterson and husband, Ted, of Fort Worth and Krissy Sims of Whitney; three great-grandchildren, Kylie, Luke and Brenna McKittrick; and a brother-in-law, George Gann and wife, Sissy, of Granbury.
Pallbearers will be Jesse Wilkins, Lynn Mowery, Roy Teague, Arlon Morris, Eugene Grooms, David Harless, Kenneth Buckner and Gary Britton. Honorary pallbearers will be William McDaniel and Butch South.
