Surviving is his wife, Carol A. of Bryan; two sons, Randy A. Schad and Steven A. Schad, both of Bryan; two grandchildren, Elizabeth R. Schad and Zachary A. Schad. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Kelli L. Schad, and one brother, Gerald L. "Jerry" Schad.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, January 9, 2014 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan where funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 10, 2014 with Rev. Kurt Letcher officiating. Interment will be made in Shiffler Cemetery, Bryan. Friends will also be received one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the charity of the donor's choice.
