Mildred S. Baker, 80, passed away Monday, December 31, 2007 at home in Madison, Wisconsin. She was born April 7, 1927 in East Chicago, Indiana, the daughter of Peter and Tekla (Mikalajunas) Sakas.
Mildred graduated from Butler University with a B.S. degree in Pharmacy in 1946. She married Roscoe Baker on June 28, 1958 in Cleveland. The Bakers lived on Rt. 301 N., Penfield (Ohio) from 1966 to 1978.
Mildred loved opening the world to her daughters and taking road trips, big and small, with her husband, Roscoe.
Mildred is survived by her husband, Roscoe Baker of Madison, Wisconsin; daughters, Suzanne (Gerhard Krabbe) of Livonia, Michigan, and Hilda (Brian Penoyer) of Silver Spring, Maryland; and grandchildren, Scotia, Mei-Ling, Teslin, and Marloes.
She was preceded by her parents; and a sister, Hilda.
