Daniel C. Ryan, age 62, died on March 28, 2015, at Cedar Crest Nursing Home from complications due to Parkinson's disease and esophageal cancer. He was born in Janesville, on July 10, 1952, the son of the late Donald E. and Dorothy J. (Bass) Ryan. Dan graduated from Parker High School in 1971. Dan followed his passion by being involved in auto racing his entire life. He started out racing go-carts, continuing on with short track racing, drag racing and the NASCAR circuit. He worked for over 15 years for Roush Racing Team as a mechanic. Even though he lived in North Carolina, for many years, he was still a very avid Green Bay Packer fan. Dan is survived by his three brothers; his niece and two nephews; many other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Judith Ryan. Burial at Oak Hill Cemetery. Whitcomb - Lynch Funeral Home.
