ARAB - Mrs. Simmie Catherine Bagwell , 82, of Arab died Monday in Florida. The funeral was to be today at 3 p.m. at the Arab First Baptist Church.
Survivors include five sons, Waylan Bagwell of Boaz, Edwin Bagwell of Arab, Sim Bagwell and Wendell Bagwell, both of Somerville, and Roger Bagwell of Decatur; four daughters, Louise Wilson of Union Grove, Marion Jensen of Florida and Juanee Metcalfe and Bernice Collins, both of Arab; four brothers, Robert Parker of Arab and Willie Parker, Jasper Parker and Leon Parker, all of Texas; four sisters, Datsey Hill and Artie Nixon, both of Arab, Lorraine Bishop of Texas and Alma Shannon of California; 30 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
