Dorothy J. Bolle, age 89, a Francis Creek resident died Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Harmony Assisted Living of Manitowoc.

Dorothy was born on June 21, 1925, in the Town of Kossuth, daughter of the late Frank and Emma (Swetlik) Fierst. She grew up in the Francis Creek area and was a 1942 graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. On July 17, 1943 Dorothy was married to Francis L. Bolle at St. Anne Catholic Church in Francis Creek. In 1967 the couple bought and operated Bolle's French Creek Inn in Francis Creek. Francis preceded her in death on October 8, 1994. Dorothy sold the business to her son Dennis, after 34 years of business.

She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, St. Anne Rosary Society, Francis Creek Rockwood Senior Citizens, two card clubs, and a former member of Manitowoc County Tavern League.

Survivors include her three sons and one daughter-in-law: David Bolle, Green Bay and his special friend: Amy Matz; Dennis Bolle, Francis Creek; Dean (Lisa) Bolle, Green Bay; two daughters and sons-in-law: Diane (Bob) Schleis, Kewaunee; Doreen (Michael) Voight, Luxemburg; eight grandchildren: Scott (Jessica) Bolle, Logan Bolle and his fiancée: Katie Harvey, Shelly (John) Mellenberger, Shawn Schleis, Rob (Ashley) Schleis, Autumn Schleis, Libby Voight and Drew Voight; nine great grandchildren; one brother-in-law: Lovell Bolle, TX; four sisters-in-law: Barbara Sieber, TX; Ethelyn Bolle, Reifs Mills; Marian Bolle, Manitowoc; Elaine Bolle, Manitowoc; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Frank and Emma Fierst; her husband: Francis L. Bolle; one daughter-in-law: Paulette Bolle; two brothers and one sister-in-law: Rueben Fierst, Raymond (Dorothy) Fierst; five sisters and brothers-in-law: Florence (George) Miller, Irene (Victor) Feit, Evelyn (Vernon) Elfner, Rosalie (Frank) Neuser, Virginia (Ludwig) Swetlik; eight brothers-in-law and five sisters-in-law: Carl (Ruth) Bolle, Dale Bolle, Robert Bolle, Llewellyn "Mex" Bolle, Berlin (Evelyn) Bolle, Everett (Dorothy) Bolle, Sally (Russell) Walesh, Patrick Sieber, Lucille Swetlik.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The Rev. John Becker will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with burial to follow in the parish cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Kellnersville on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm and on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 am. There will be a parish prayer service at the funeral home on Monday led by Fr. Becker at 7:00 pm.
