Sister was born January 15, 1921 in Detroit, MI the daughter of Bernard and Blanche (Gorny) Starner and was a member of the Congregation of St. Joseph. Surviving are 3 sisters, Mildred Sinacola of Hazel Park, Patricia Powers of Warren and Sister Pauline Starner CSJ of Nazareth; several nieces and nephews and the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph. Friends will be received at Nazareth Center Tuesday after 4 pm. A vigil service will be held Tuesday 7 pm in the Holy Family Chapel where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday 10:30 am. Fr. Michael Howell and Fr.
