Mrs. Peterson was born in Montgomery county, August 12, 1868. She was the daughter of Martin and Elizabeth (Dunbar) Bowers. On November 28, 1888, she was married to Paris B. Peterson, who died December 27, 1928.
She was a member of the old White Church of the Brethren in Montgomery county.
Surviving are a brother, Robert Bowers; a granddaughter, Mrs. Luella Stewart, and four great-grandchildren. A son, Harley M. Peterson, died in 1945.
Last rites were held Sunday afternoon at the Kleinsmith Funeral Home. Burial was in the Bowers cemetery in Montgomery county.
