Age 81, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at the Brookdale Place of Ann Arbor. He was born May 23, 1932 in Alpena, MI, the son of Paul and Marie (Kornack) Meske. On October 19, 1956 he married Margaret A. Rowe and she preceded him in death on November 5, 1987. Glenn graduated from Saline High School and went on to become a tool & die maker for the Republic Tool & Die Company located in Belleville, MI until his retirement. He was a proud member of the United States Army and served during the Korean Conflict. Glenn enjoyed woodworking and was active in Habitat For Humanity. Survivors include three children: Ann (John) Goss, Philip (Alison) Meske and Andrew (Cheryl) Meske. Other survivors include six grandchildren and one great-grandchild, five sisters; Kay Donakowski, Eunice Feldkamp, Marguerite Lindemann, Sally Meyer, Jeanne Connell, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, Glenn was preceded in death by one grandchild, four brothers and four sisters. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the King of Kings Lutheran Church 2685 Packard Road Ann Arbor, MI 48104 with Pastor Michael Ryan officiating. Burial will take place following the service in the Oakwood Cemetery in Saline, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church. Envelopes will be available at Church where friends may begin calling on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 11:00 A.M.
