November 2, 1926 - October 4, 2005 Andrews: Benjamin "Tim" Fraser Harrelson, Jr., 78, died Tuesday, October 4, 2005, at Kindred Hospital in Charleston. Mr. Harrelson was born in Nichols on November 2, 1926, son of the late Benjamin Fraser Harrelson and Katherine Naomi Hewitt Harrelson. He grew up in Horry Co. and served in the Army during the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Harrelson was a retired automotive parts manager and had been employed by a number of auto dealerships in Horry and Georgetown Counties. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Andrews and former deacon, choir member, and Sunday School teacher. Mr. Harrelson was also an avid gardener, enjoyed collegiate athletics, and a longtime member of IPTAY.
Mr. Harrelson was predeceased by a brother, Hope D. Harrelson. Surviving are: his wife, Bonelle Cox Harrelson of Andrews; Funeral services were held at eleven o"clock Friday, October 7, 2005 at First Baptist Church of Andrews. Officiating Rev. Donald P. Sapp. Burial was at at three o"clock in Carter Cemetery in Horry Co. near Loris. The family received friends at the Andrews Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home on Thursday, October 6, 2005 from six until eight.
