Mrs. Alice Ackert, wife of the late William C. Ackert, died Thursday night at the Northern Dutchess Hospital, where she had been ill for the past nine weeks. She was a daughter of the late Robert J. L. Marshall and Sally Pink Marshall and was born in Rhinebeck. She had always made her home here. She was a life member of Beekman Chapter, No. 496 O. E. S. and had held offices in the chapter for many years. Surviving are a son Louis A. Ackert, a daughter, Mrs. Jennie D. Coon of Rhinebeck and five grandchildren, Louis and Henry Ackert of Albany, Mrs. Mary Delaney of Manchester Road, Poughkeepsie; William C. Coon of Rhinebeck and Mrs. Gerald Flewelling of Poughkeepsie. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon in the Reformed church, with the Rev. Frank D.
