Funeral for Mrs. Anna Malina Kvavle, 87, of 2344 NE 41st Ave., who died Tuesday in a local nursing home, will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Ross Hollywood Chapel, with the Rev. William C. Shane officiating.
Mrs. Kvavle, who was born in Norway Dec. 29, 1876, came to the United States 71 years ago, to Oregon in 1901 and to Portland 26 years ago.
Survivors include one son, Carter Kvavle, McMinnville; two daughters, Miss Alice Kvavle, and Mrs. Agness Martin, both of Portland; one sister, Mrs. Tillie Bingaman, Hood River; two brothers, T. M. Nelson, Norway, and N. I. Nelson, California; four grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
