Michael Altmann, 77, of route 3, Manitowoc, died early this morning at the Holy Family hosptial following a short illness.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Pfeffer funeral home and at 9 a.m. at the St. Andrew Catholic church, the Rev. Henry Letz officiating. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.
Mr. Altmann was born April 4, 1869, in Germany and came to this county at the age of 21. He retired from farming three years ago.
Mrs. Altmann, the former Ottelia Jazinske, died in 1917 (sic).
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. William Edwards of Manitowoc and Mrs. Edward Pridel, route 3, a son, George of Manitowoc; a brother, George of Dorchester. One son, Captain Anton, of the state guard of Sheboygan, died three years ago.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home from 7 p.m. this evening until time of services on Wednesday. The rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 7:45 o'clock tonight.
