STEWART, Dorothy L. age 91, of Hamilton, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 8:25AM. She was born in London, KY, on December 18, 1922 to Earl and Mary Vance. She loved flowers and working in her garden. She enjoyed crotchet, cooking, needlepoint, but most of all she loved taking care of all of her family and friends. She spent many years enjoying the good times with her late husband David Stewart who passed away in 2004. She is survived by six grandchildren, Michael (Wilma) Lunsford, Paul (Martina) Lunsford, Vickie Olmsead, Deonna Hatton, David Philbeck, Sherry Knaus; four great-grandchildren, Paul (Brandy) Lunsford Jr., Paula Lunsford, Michael Steele, and Joshua (Maliea) Steele; and numerous great-great grandchildren; her beloved dog Deedee; and numerous other realitves and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother Raymond Vance; one son Robert Philbeck; and one daughter Betty Buck. Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Monday, May 12, 2014 at 12Noon with Pastor Bill Botts officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 12, 2014 from 11AM - 12noon at the funeral home.
