REINHART BAUER
Reinhart P. Bauer, 81, of 943 N. 11th St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday morning, Jan. 4, at Holy Family Hospital.
Funeral services will be 12 noon Thursday at Parkside Funeral Home and 12:30 p.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Leo J. Schmitt will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Bauer was born Oct. 8, 1901, at Manitowoc Rapids, son of the late Peter and Ida Coutley Bauer. He married Melania Hoffman Oct. 22, 1924, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot. He was a painter and decorator in Manitowoc until his retirement in 1963. He was a charter member of Holy Innocents Catholic Church and a member of the Holy Name Society of the church.
Survivors include his wife, Melania, a son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Arline Bauer of Manitowoc; a brother, Victor Bauer of Manitowoc Rapids; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Two brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Parkside Funeral Home 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday. A prayer service will be at 8 p.m. led by Deacon Don Gigure.
