Chelsi Eryn Adair died, unexpectedly, in the early morning hours of Sunday, January 25, 2015, at home in Gilbert, Maricopa County, Arizona. She was 25 years old. Chelsi was born at Tyndall Air Force Base in Panama City, Bay County, Florida to her parents, Rodger Dean and Mary Anne (Paturzo) Adair.
As a little girl, at the age of 7, Chelsi moved to Arizona with her family. She attended Ben Franklin Charter School in Gilbert where she was a good friend to all. During her high school years, Chelsi was an good student and was a popular cheerleader. She was a member of Higley High School, Class of 2008. Also, during that same year, Chelsi completed the cosmetology program at East Valley Institute of Technology and, has since, excelled in her chosen profession as a hair stylist. She loved having the privilege of cutting her brothers and sisters hair for many years and also enjoyed giving her many friends perfect hair dos and makeovers. Chelsi will fondly be remembered for her adventurous spirit during her travels. She especially enjoyed her trip to Hawaii a few years ago. Everyone who knew Chelsi knew she didn't like bugs, of any kind, but always knew she loved cats! Her family and friends will miss her quirky food fetishes that simply made Chelsi, Chelsi. She had a large circle of friends and truly enjoyed "hanging out" with her dear friends.
On December 10, 2011, Chelsi married Derringer John Dade in Payson, Arizona. To their union a son, Hayes Dade was born. That little piece of Heaven forever changed Chelsi's life and she lived to love and dote over him as only a "mommy" could do. He brought her the truest and purest of joy in life and he made her life complete. Family meant everything to Chelsi. She loved the family traditions of her childhood established by her parents and she looked forward to those special events each and every year with them. She also loved planning new family traditions for her little boy, Hayes, and together, they looked forward to spending those precious moments with each other. This incredibly beautiful, creative and talented young woman, will be missed by everyone whom had the privilege to call her friend. None, however, will miss her more that those "friends" that lived within the walls of her own home. They do find comfort in knowing that she truly is a daughter of God and is now resting in His bosom.
Chelsi is survived by her husband, Derringer John Dade of Mesa, Arizona; son, Hayes Dade of San Tan Valley, Arizona; parents: Rodger and Mary Adair of Gilbert, Arizona; 5 siblings: Melissa (Scott) Hollobaugh of San Tan Valley, Pvt. Colin Adair of the United States Army currently serving in Seoul, South Korea, Aidan Adair of Gilbert, Arizona, Ainslee Adair of Gilbert, Arizona, Ryden Adair of Gilbert, Arizona; grandparents: Jimmy and Fern (Drowns) Adair of Ogden, Utah; aunts and uncles: Patrick Paturzo, Jackie Stow, Jimmy (Tamra) Adair and Annette (Gene) Murri. She is also survived by many cousins and countless dear friends whom she considered kindred spirits. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, the late Arthur and Florence (Ehrets) Paturzo.
The public visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Friday, February 6, 2015, at the Crossroads Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1155 E. Ray Road in Gilbert, Arizona. The funeral service will begin 10:00 A.M., Saturday, February 7, 2015, at the church, where additional visitation will begin 1 hour prior. The concluding service and interment will immediately follow at the San Tan Memorial Gardens at Schnepf Farms, 22425 E. Cloud Road in Queen Creek, Arizona.
A special fund for her son, Hayes Dade, has been established at Chase Bank. For those who would like to contribute to his future, you may go to any Chase Bank branch and, by way of check or money order, make your contribution in the name of Hayes Dade.
