James Merritt Lane, 94, a former resident of Iola, died Wednesday, Aug. 17, at a Tulsa Nursing Home.
Lane was born Feb. 27, 1894, at Box Butte, Neb. He was an insurance agent and was a Navy veteran of World War I.
He is survived by a nephew, James Keyser, Memphis.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the First Presbyterian Church of Tulsa. Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Highland Cemetery in Iola.
