The family lived in Decatur for about fifty years and for forty years the family lived in the same house in the northeast part of the city. They were known to all the people who lived in that part of Decatur. After all their children had grown up and moved away Mr. & Mrs. Keating went to the Old Folks home in Springfield and have been there for the past two years. Mr. Keating is still at the home. Two daughters, Mrs. Mary Magner of Chicago and Mrs. Kate Keck of Bloomington were with Mrs. Keating when she died. Besides her husband and daughters she is survived by five sons, James, John, Dennis, Emmett, and Mitchell Keating. The body was brought to Decatur Sunday night and taken to Moran's chapel.
The funeral will be held at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning at St. Patrick's Catholic church. The interment will be in Calvary.
