Arick, Dorothy Faye (Crawford), 94, retired RN, beloved mom, grandma and friend, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2015. She was born in Du Bois, Nebraska to John William Crawford and Edna Marie (Jackson) Crawford. She was a graduate of Du Bois High School, Du Bois, Nebraska. On September 19, 1942 in Sabetha, Kansas, she married the love of her life Ivan Leigh Arick. She was long time member of the Eastern Star and First United Methodist Church in Valley Center. She is survived by her son, Bill (Vicki) Arick and daughter, Linda (Mike) Neal, all of Valley Center; grandchildren, Daniel (Kris) Arick, Anne (Daryl) Hainlen, Ivan Moore, Paul Moore, Shane Neal and Jacque (Jade) Dundas; great grandchildren, Dagon Arick, Dalton Arick, Donovyn Arick, Felicia Carter, Myles Carter Darien Hainlen, Tatum Moore, Latyn Moore, Isaac Neal, Sophia Neal, Andrew Dundas, Victoria Dundas and Kate Dundas; sisters Lola Flider of Table Rock, Nebraska and Belva Steiner of Nebraska City, Nebraska; many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Ivan L. Arick, parents John and Edna Crawford.

Visitation 5-7 p.m., Monday, April 13 and Services 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 14, both will be held at First United Methodist Church, 516 N. Park, Valley Center. Graveside will follow the service at the Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick, Kansas. Memorials may be designated in her memory to the First United Methodist Church, 516 N.
